Shrove Tuesday: Pancake Supper

It is Shrove Tuesday!

Join us at the church this evening, February 24th at 6:00 PM for a great meal.

The Men of the Church will be preparing the Pancake Supper, which includes their famous pancakes, sausages, bacon, milk, juice and coffee.

Come and enjoy the time together. Donations will be accepted at the door.

Youth Sunday: February 22, 2009

Youth Sunday is February 22nd.

The youth of St.A's will lead our worship service.

Let's all be sure to come Sunday to support and encourage the youth of the church and to show them how important they are to us.

Also, just a friendly suggestion, sit near the front. It will help you to hear and see.

My 95 is Coming!

My95 is coming. ... What is it? ... Glad you asked!

My95 is an opportunity for us to discover opportunities that God gives us each day to Share the Joy of Life in Christ in our daily activities and with the people where we live, move and hang out.
Beginning March 1st, Spike will begin a sermon series. The Scripture lessons for the Sunday sermons will then be the lessons for discussion at our home Bible studies. A number of church members will host Bible studies in their homes for My95. The weekly home Bible study will last five weeks. Spike and Pearl have organized home groups according to age and neighborhoods. Your hosts will be in tough in the next week with more info on your group.

In addition, starting March 2nd, we will provide daily devotions for church members to use Monday through Friday of the five weeks of My95.

The daily devotionals and weekly Bible studies can be picked up at our Fat Tuesday pancake supper (February 24th) and the following Sunday, March 1. Also, the devotional and weekly Bible studies can be sent to you electronically (just let me know if you would like for us to send you a copy electronically).
