Our shift is from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The event will take place at Forest Park Playground (the Aquacenter) located on Playground Road. We need volunteers to sign up for our shift. Please contact Mary Catherine James if you have any questions! Hope to see you there.

Celebration of Animals!
This worship experience will be fun for all ages and for all of God's creatures as we celebrate God's gift of the animals that fill our lives with so much joy. We will have pony rides for the kids and Susan Marett (www.purelypositive.com) will be there to talk with you about dogs and small children. We will also have a "Yappy Hour"! Corny, perhaps, but it will be lots of fun!
Hope to see you there Sunday!
New Bible Series Beginning Sunday!
Partakers of Grace!
Don't forget the new series we begin this Sunday, October 2. Smith Blackburn's SS class will use the devotional guide, as will the Wed (11:00) Bible study beginning Oct. 5th.
Before Sunday, read Philippians in one setting. Underline the words "joy," "rejoice," and "Jesus Christ." What do we learn, or at least notice, from the repetition of these words?
See you Sunday, if not before!
Peace, Spike

Commemoration of 9/11: Special Service
You are invited to share with us in our special commemoration of 9/11. At 9:45 the youth and adults will meet in the fellowship hall for a conversation with Lt. Col. Rucker Snead (US Army, ret). He will also speak in worship. As many of you know, he is the son of Marilyn Snead and was in the Pentagon on 9/11. Please plan to be with us on this important anniversary and invite friends and neighbors to come with you.
