Thanksgiving Celebration

Thanksgiving Celebration : Covered Dish Dinner

November 23, 2008 at 6:00 PM

The Men of the Church are hosting our annual Thanksgiving Covered Dish Dinner on
Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 6:00 PM.

The Men of the Church will provide turkeys and dressing. You are asked to being the other "fixings" that accompany the dinner.

Come and enjoy the food and fellowship.

Indoor/Outdoor Church Workday

There will be an Indoor/Outdoor Church Workday on Saturday, November 22nd from 8AM- 12Noon, sponsored by the Buildings and Grounds Committee and the Building Task Force.

Tasks will include: indoor painting (fellowship hall kitchen, upstairs hall office building), and "sprucing up" the grounds before the hilidays.

Paint and painting supplies will be provided. Please bring rakes, trimmers and other outdoor tools.

These are the final tasks in "Phase I" of our building improvement plan! Join with your church family to help us finish the project by the end of 2008! See you there!

Holiday Bazaar 2008

Did you come? There were many treasures at the Bazaar and at the yard sale. They say that one man's junk is another man's treasure. There were wonderful hand made gifts, good things to eat and fun and fellowship all around. Let's take a peak...just in case you could not make it.

First stop the garage sale. There was some of everything under the sun to choose from.

High Tea Highlites

The Choir hosted another High Tea on Friday, November 14th. The music was a delight! We all enjoyed the tea, scones, cakes and music. There was also lots to choose from with the silent auction. The tea was one of the fundraisers the Choir is hosting to help get them to the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia in May of 2009.
