Souper Bowl Sunday!

140 million people all over the world watched the SuperBowl football game today. There were parties with abundant food, friendship and fellowship. At the same time, there were people who worried about staying warm, finding shelter and a warm meal.

The youth of St. Andrew's decided to make a difference. They held a Souper Bowl of Caring during Moments of Fellowship today. They used the Super Bowl weekend to fight hunger and poverty in our local communities. They made delicious soup and bread and took up donations that will benefit our local soup kitchens.

The Souper Bowl of Caring is a youth-led, grassroots movement of caring, the result of thousands of young people joining together to fight hunger and poverty in their communities. Since 1990, $35 million has been raised for charities across the country.
